Monday Chapels are called “Liturgical Rhythms.” Each week there will be a reading of the Psalms, an acoustic hymn or two, a corporate confession or creed, a short Scripture lesson, and a benediction. The goal is to have a community rhythm of starting each week with hearing and confessing truth
Wednesday Chapels are focused on spiritual formation and practice. There will be worship and prayer, a shorter TED-talk style teaching on a spiritual discipline such as prayer or evangelism, and some extended time for our community to practice that discipline and process together. Wednesdays are community-practice oriented. The goal is to focus on a spiritual discipline in order to give us a space to not just learn and listen, but to engage in and practice our faith.
Friday Chapels are a celebration at the end of the week. There will be more “contemporary” style worship and a time of opening the Scripture together. The goal is to allow the Word of God to dwell in us, convict us, and encourage us in following Jesus.
MONDAY NIGHT "PURSUIT"
Monday night Pursuits are our weekly night gathering dedicated to corporate prayer, worship, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Pursuits are from 830-10pm and are open to the public.
Revive nights: In past years Northwest has hosted an annual Pursuit Conference as a free, three-day experience, showing how God has already pursued us, inspiring and empowering us to pursue Him in response. This year, Northwest is proud to be holding REVIVE nights. REVIVE is a one night gathering where young adults come together to hear from, encounter, and respond to God. REVIVE happens all throughout the year and will feature speakers, pastors, and worship leaders from around the country.
CHICCHAT AND FELLASHIP
ChicChat and Fellaship arewomen’s and men’s gatherings that happen throughout the year. They typically incorporate a short teaching or thought, a time for Question and Response, and end with prayer.
