NU Worship’s mission is to help cultivate the spiritual vitality of the community at Northwest University and to help foster the spiritual formation of each member primarily through the use of music in corporate worship services, which we believe is a means to the greater end of living lives of worship to God. 

2026-2027 NU WORSHIP AUDITIONS

NU Worship auditions will be held on September 1st-4th for both band and vocals. Bring your audition application to your selected audition time or submit it to worship@northwestu.edu. Please click, download, and read the following for information on the 2026-2027 NU Worship audition process.

IF YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR MULTIPLE POSITIONS— YOU MAY DO SO— BUT YOU ARE LIMITED TO TWO TIME SLOTS.

This is just to ensure that everyone has a chance to be heard. Since there will not be space for each student to play every instrument they are proficient at on a chapel team, please choose your best/favorite position to lead in. You can always let us know if you are able to serve in other ways after you are accepted to the team!

One final note, due to the size and caliber of NU Worship as a whole, we have a limited number of band and vocalist positions available on our teams. We would love to have everyone who is interested to audition, regardless of major or life-calling, and whether or not you are chosen isn’t an indication of your abilities and value as a worship leader. If you aren’t selected this year, please audition again next year!
